Bacco Osteria is based in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. With a strong focus on seasonal produce, we aim to source locally, using organic and sustainable goods wherever possible. We have strong relationships with our providors and farmers who supply us with incredible produce daily. Hand dived sea urchin from NSW, Port Phillip Bay Scallops, Berkshire-cross rare breed pork from Oberon, organic vegetables from Fitzroy Falls in the Southern Highlands, and stunning organic fruit from the Hawksbury River region. At Bacco we believe in a true Italian artisan approach, hand making bread, pasta and soft cheeses daily.
The winelist at Bacco features predominantly Italian varieties sourced from both local and Italian producers with a focus on sustainable viticultural practices. Where possible, we’ve aimed to deliver wines with minimal use of sulphates. It's all about the fruit, the place and the winemaker
Bacco Espresso echoes that of a true Italian Espresso and Panini Bar. We proudly make everything in house. Bakers are in well before the sun comes up to make our sourdough, "pane di casa" , fruit loaves, panini, daily pasticceria and pizza al taglio. Our espresso bar evokes a sense of Italian, casual eating so as you perch at the bar, wines or beer by the glass are available. Enjoy a porchetta panino with a glass of COS Rami, or a Young Henrys ’Newtowner' with pizza al taglio. Our signature blend of coffee by local boutique roaster The Little Marionette provides the smooth espresso hit for your day, also offering single origin beans from around the world which change with seasonal availability for the avid black coffee drinker. Open from 7am Monday through Friday we cater for both dine in and takeaway.
